The best time to visit Knysna is from October to April, when warm, sunny weather is perfect for exploring the famous Knysna Lagoon, indigenous forests, beaches, and the iconic Knysna Heads. Summer (December to February) is ideal for outdoor activities and boat cruises, while spring and autumn offer pleasant temperatures, fewer visitors, and excellent conditions for hiking, golfing, and discovering the Garden Route at a more relaxed pace.
