Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch – South Africa’s Wine Capital
South Africa’s second-oldest town and the historic centre of cape wine country, with oak-lined avenues, whitewashed Cape Dutch buildings, and some of the country’s most celebrated estates within easy reach. Beyond the tasting rooms, the town itself rewards slow exploration — a university town with genuine architectural depth and a relaxed, unhurried pace that sets it apart from the coast.

Best time to visit Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is between October and April. Spring (October–November) brings blooming vineyards and pleasant temperatures, while the summer and harvest season (December–March) offers sunny weather, lively wine estates, and vibrant festivals. For fewer crowds and beautiful autumn colours, March and April are particularly rewarding, making it an ideal time to enjoy wine tastings, gourmet dining, and scenic walks through the Cape Winelands.
